The Stellar Virtual Difference
With virtual school gaining popularity, the question becomes “what sets your school apart?” Here’s the Stellar Difference
Imagine a world where your student is known, understood, and taught according to how they learn best, not what works for a room of thirty kids. That vision is the foundation of our School of One approach, treating each child as the center of their learning journey. Here’s how we build a personalized foundation for each student:
Each family has a Success Specialist, acting as a dedicated counselor from enrollment to graduation.
Regular One-on-one sessions with teachers, so they know how best to serve your family.
Curriculum that allows your student to work at their own pace
When students feel seen and understood, the rest falls into place. That’s why we’re dedicated to getting to know who they are.
K-12 is only a fraction of your student’s journey through life, and we want to make sure they’re ready when it’s time to graduate. That’s why we focus on Education with Destination. Whether your student is college bound, ready to jump into a trade, or wants to go straight into the workplace, we work hard to ensure the have all they need to succeed. To give an example, we offer:
Graduation preparation and career counseling before you buy a cap and gown.
Guidance with resumes and college application
Dual Credit trade and college courses to give students a head start in furthering their education.
CTE Pathways so students can earn real certifications in high-demand industries.
Developing vital workplace skills like time-management, digital literacy, and self-management.
From root to leaf, at Texas Virtual Schools, we build an educational ecosystem with your student at the center. By the time graduation rolls around, they’re be ready to step across the stage at graduation and into the next stage of life.
If School of One is the foundation, our uBu pathways are the tools used to build toward student growth. uBu stands for just that — you can be you! We value the individuality of each students, using their interests and passions to help identify their strengths and overcome weaknesses. While that sounds well and good, here’s how it works in practice:
Projects and assignments that allow students to engage with their interests while progressing academically.
A variety of electives for multiple grade levels so students can develop their interests into valuable skills.
High school students are encouraged to explore potential careers through our Dual Credit College courses, Dual Credit Trade courses, and CTE Pathways.
These pathways are real ways to customize each student’s learning experience — allowing them to grow into their authentic self.
