Why Stellar?
With virtual schools gaining popularity, the question becomes “what sets your school apart?”
Stellar schools are more than just curriculum on a screen. We’re a community that puts students at the center of everything we do.
We know that many of our students come to us when traditional school isn’t the right fit – whether that’s due to health issues, bullying, or extra-curricular pursuits. That’s why we build school around each student: so every student has a place they belong, with people ready to support them.
At Stellar, your family is never alone. We make sure students are seen, heard, and hopeful for their future. That’s what sets us apart.
Our Three Pillars
Not Homeschool, but a School of One
Homeschool provides students with more attention and flexibility, but puts all the pressure on parents to teach. Public school provides certified teachers and structured curriculum, but with a one-size-fits-all approach for 30-student classrooms.
Our School of One approach finds the perfect middle ground.

Certified educators
Accredited, flexible curriculum

One of the hardest parts of educating is keeping students engaged. We’ve found a way to give student passions purpose in our uBu pathways.
uBu stands for just that — you can be you. Every student has different interests, strengths and weaknesses. At Stellar we use student interests to build valuable skills and help students overcome academic weaknesses.
Creative projects and assignments

Future Focused – Education with Destination
We know how scary the future can seem, for both students and the adults who care for them. At Stellar, our goal isn’t just to get students across the stage at graduation, but to set them down the path toward their best future with all the resources they need to succeed. And, at no cost.
